Monday has a habit of sneaking up on you...
We started the week off with almost 70 scouts attending the first day of Polar Bear Swim!
Even the Scoutmasters were tired!!
All day long things went smoothly though. Scoutmasters were working on the Scoutmaster Merit Badge, while Scouts were working on their own badges. Supper was Meatloaf and potatoes, and I have to say, it was some of the best meatloaf I have ever had! The new cook Lorna really knows her stuff!
After Supper, we had a variety of activities going on throughout camp. We had Catch and Release, Campfire Cooking, Leave No Trace, and more!
Here are some Scouts waiting for the start of the 1/4 Mile Swim.
We seem to have a new Camp Tradition starting... The Volleyball Tournament has been VERY popular with the Troops, and Staff alike.
Pictures of myself and the Camp Director Travis
I even got a pic of the Ranger John, and the District Executive Carl watching the match.
All in all, we had a huge turnout, but it came down to two teams... The Staff, and Troop 40 B (Troop 40 was large enough to have 2 teams enter), However... It got dark, and the Finale had to be played on Tuesday...
